Grant results for Mevlana Incoming Student and Incoming Academic Staff Applications for 2019-2020 Academic Year can be found below:

Number of students and Academic Staff who will receive Mevlana grant for the 2019-2020 Academic Year is determined by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK). ALKU IRO (International Relations Office) does not make the grant allocation.

 

Of all the applications only 19 incoming students were nominated as granted and given scholarship within the scope of Mevlana Exchange Program. For the official announcement sent by YÖK and the monthly grants, please see the attached document. The steps to follow from now on are going to be sent to those students later via e-mail.

 

Withdrawal (waiver): The students who would like to waive from the Mevlana program are required to inform ALKU IRO Advisor (mevlana@alanya.edu.tr) or their own international exchange offices (the office staff is supposed to inform us then) until 31.07.2019 by filling and sending the attached document.  There will be reduction from future Mevlana mobility number with those institutions who withdraw after this deadline. If the granted-students decide to waive, those students who could not receive scholarship and have the highest overall score will be reported to YÖK as the reserved candidates for Mevlana scholarship. That’s why it is very important to inform us on time. 

 

Zero-Grant Participation: The students who would like to participate in the program without scholarship are required to inform IRO Advisor (mevlana@alanya.edu.tr) until 31.07.2019. Those students who would like to participate in the program on zero-grant basis will be reported to YÖK. The participation status of zero-grant students will be determined by YÖK.
